3D and Stereo

Rotating arrays of cubes. The animation shows an example of two arrays of cubes like the ones we (Valsecchi, Caziot, Backus and Gegenfurtner, 2013) used to test the contribution of binocular disparity to rapid scene recognition.  Having the arrays spin gives an impression of their 3D structure.

Stereo Pairs. The stereo pair and red-green anaglyph represent one of the stimuli we used in Valsecchi, Caziot, Backus and Gegenfurtner (2013) and Valsecchi and Gegenfurtner (2012).  Although you don´t encode them faster than a 2D picture you might remember them better and they look awsome.
